NTPC Simhadri Signs MoA on CSR Project

Visakhapatnam: NTPC Simhadri Super Thermal Power Plant has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the District Collector of Kakinada to implement key community development projects in the Pithapuram constituency.

The agreement, undertaken as part of NTPC’s strategic CSR initiatives and at the request of the Andhra Pradesh Government, aims to enhance public infrastructure, healthcare, and education in the region.

Among others, Sameer Sharma, (Head of Project- Simhadri), and the Chief Planning Officer of Kakinada, along with senior NTPC officials, were present. The Rs.2.85 crore initiative will fund the completion of works at UPHC, Gollaprolu Nagar Panchayat; CC roads in Gollaprolu mandal; science labs in schools and junior colleges.
