Naidu Hails Telugu-Origin Usha Vance Becoming 2nd Lady Of US

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday conveyed his greetings to JD Vance for becoming the Vice President-elect of the United States, and his wife Usha Vance for getting the honour to become Second Lady. In a post on X, he said his victory marks a historic moment, as Usha Vance who has roots in Andhra Pradesh, will become the first woman of Telugu heritage to serve as the Second Lady of the US.

"This is a moment of pride for the Telugu community around the world. I look forward to the opportunity to invite them to visit Andhra Pradesh," he stated. Earlier, he conveyed his greetings to Donald Trump for getting elected as the next President of the US for a second term. In a separate post on X, he congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the US Presidential elections and wished him success as he prepares to lead his country forward.
