Naidu Conducts Aerial Survey Of Flood Damage
Interacts with affected people, promises adequate compensation

Kirlampudi (Kakinada district): Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu after an aerial survey and field visit of the worst-affected areas in the Godavari and Eluru districts, on Wednesday promised all-out efforts to come to the rescue all those who suffered inundation of their agricultural fields and damage to their houses.
He toured the flooded areas on JCB in Rajupalem village of Kirlampudi mandal in Kakinada district. He spoke to many villagers and farmers and learnt details about the damage caused by the floods.
The Chief Minister told them, “I will take up the responsibility of doing justice to everyone with adequate compensation,” and announced a compensation of Rs 10,000 per acre for crop loss. He said the government will help the farmers who have suffered due to floods. “We will enumerate every loss with transparency and accountability,” he added.
Naidu said they will survey the damaged houses, loss of horticultural crops and livestock by September 17 and provide compensation immediately.
The Chief Minister later inspected the flood damage in Kolleru area by a helicopter. Naidu made it clear that he will take the responsibility of providing justice to everyone who has suffered in the floods.
