Naidu 'redefining AP’s 'growth story'

From pioneering the IT revolution in 1995 to embracing AI in 2025, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu continues to redefine AP's growth journey, said Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu on Thursday.

He posted on X (formerly Twitter): "His interaction with Bill Gates is a testament to our State's commitment to progress." Later he said Naidu's presence and interaction both at roundtable sessions and on the sidelines of 55th annual session of World Economic Forum in Davos and address in Zurich at a meeting with Telugu diaspora were successful in promoting Brand AP and generating goodwill among investors on the industry-friendly climate created in the State.

Recollecting his association with legendary Bill Gates, while inviting him to become a member of the advisory committee of the proposed AI University in Visakhapatnam and to transform AP into an AI hub, Naidu stated on X "Back in 1995--IT...now in 2025--AI." The AP Lounge was opened at the India Pavilion with the tagline "Invest in AP." During his interactions, Naidu sought investments into renewable energy, green hydrogen, petrochemical complexes and new age technologies like AI and MF.

Meanwhile, the State Government in a release said the Chief Minister's four-day visit to Davos, aimed at raising the brand image of AP and establishing a network for bringing huge investments to the State, ended successfully.
