Amaravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday pulled up YSRCP for using animal fat in Tirumala Laddus and ridiculed the attempts by party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Y.V. Subba Reddy and others to project themselves as innocent.
Regretting that temples across the State have witnessed various kinds of transgressions during the previous government, the Chief Minister told the media during an chat at TDP central office that when the divine head of Lord Rama was removed from the idol at Ramatheertham no one bothered about it. At least action was not initiated against any one, he said.
The Chief Minister said that the YSRCP government simply played with the sentiments of the people and did not honour their feelings. Not only that government has destroyed Amaravati but also counter-attacked those who raised their voice and spread false propaganda against such persons, he said.
How the YSRCP leaders falsely rebutted the murder of Babai (Mr YS Vivekananda Reddy, the paternal uncle of the former chief minister, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy) in a similar manner they are refuting the issue of boats in Prakasam Barrage, he remarked. The YSRCP leaders have mastered the art of counter-attack, fake propaganda and false rebuttal after committing crimes, Mr Chandrababu commented.
"This is the reason as to why I compared the YSRCP leaders with the most notorious Colombian criminal and mafia don Pablo Escobar," Naidu said. When the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) has clearly submitted its report on the Prasadam of Lord Venkateswara without replying that these people are simply trying to refute it, he said and asked what should such people be called as.
How is it possible to get a kg of cow ghee at Rs.320, he said and asked why reverse tenders in the Prasadam of the Lord. One should be very careful while taking any kind of decisions with regard to the world famous sacred pilgrim centre of Tirumala and of Lord Venkateswara, he felt.
Not only they committed the crime but also shamelessly claiming it to be a diversional politics, Naidu said and stated that immediately after assuming charge as the Chief Minister he ordered the Executive Officer to cleanse the Seven Hills of Tirumala.
