Lokesh’s Week-Long US Trip Ends On High Note

Amaravati: A week-long trip to United States by Nara Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh IT, Electronics and HRD Minister, the first by any top dignitary after formation of NDA government in the State under the leadership of N Chandrababu Naidu, has turned into a big hit.
Lokesh, who during his just-concluded trip along with senior officials from the industries and other departments and AP Economic Development Board, received encouraging response from Microsoft, Tesla, Google and others during his meetings in New York City, Washington, Las Vegas, San Francisco and others. The thrust in his speeches was on how conducive atmosphere has been restored after Naidu took over the reins by introducing proactive policies and laying thrust on speed of doing business.
“The visit, which was aimed at bringing the State back on the track, which suffered huge damage due to the destructive policies adopted by the previous government, is a resounding success,” said Lokesh.
During the US-visit, all the major companies rolled out a red-carpet welcome to Lokesh and all the industrialists are now feeling happy that the State has come onto the track with the vision of Chief Minister Naidu, and Lokesh, a government release stated. There is high expectation in the government and industries circles that the visit will yield good results at the World Economic Forum Summit to be held in 2025. Lokesh met over 100 representatives of major industries and clearly explained to them the investor-friendly policies now under implementation in AP.
Representatives from globally renowned companies like Microsoft, Tesla, Amazon, Apple, Google Cloud, Sales Force and several others had a meeting with Lokesh. As the special guest for the IT Survey Synergy Summit held in Las Vegas on October 29 wherein representatives from 2,300 small and medium companies from 23 countries were present, he explained in detail the favourable atmosphere available in the State for investments. He also instilled confidence among the representatives of US-India Business Council and Indian Diaspora stating that this is the right time to invest in the State.
Lokesh, who was a product of Stanford University, also explained to them the constructive steps being taken up by the State government by adopting policies like digital governance and Ease of Doing Business (EoDB).
