IT Dept Conducts TDS Outreach At VSP

Visakhapatnam: The Income Tax Department on Monday held a TDS outreach programme at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (RINL). The program was chaired by K Prasad, Joint Commissioner of Income tax, TDS Circle, Visakhapatnam in which others including Deputy Commissioner Ijjada Madhusudhana Rao attended.

Addressing the senior officials of RINL, Prasad explained the recent developments taken place in the Income Tax Department with regard to TDS starting from digitisation process gathering of financial information which reflects in pre-filled returns, collection of data through annual information system and filing of appeals, all at the convenience of taxpayers without visiting any income-tax office.
