Hundreds of services with one click

Amaravati: From now on, services like ration card issue details, slot booking for registration, knowing the market prices of crops, availability of divine visions, attendance of students can be accessed with a single click. The state government has taken steps to provide 100 types of services through WhatsApp from November 30 through the WhatsApp business service platform. The government has already entered into an agreement with WhatsApp's parent company Meta in this regard. As part of this agreement, WhatsApp Business will provide a variety of civic services to the public as a service delivery platform. These services are being made available as per the promise made by Minister Lokesh that he will avoid the difficulties of certificates in the Yuvagalam Padayatra. It serves three basic purposes. It provides services from Government to Citizens, Business to Consumer, Department to Department of Government. The first phase involves re-engineering processes and procedures for efficient government service delivery in the commercial sector. In the second phase, civil services are provided easily without any obstacles.

More than 350 services have already been integrated in 29 departments in village and ward secretariats. Various departments are connected and other services are made available. WhatsApp provides realtime notifications with a capacity of 10 lakh alerts per hour.

Travel information related to tourism sector will be available. Acts as a platform for citizens to voice their concerns.

One can book slots for darshan, accommodation, donations and various services in the seven main temples of AP related to Devadaya. These services will be available through WhatsApp.

After the release of guidelines on how to apply for ration cards, the pattern of card issuance and ration distribution will be known.

Services such as payment of property tax, birth and death certificates and trade licenses can be obtained through WhatsApp in municipal corporations and municipal societies.

WhatsApp develops services as a technology partner for registrations. One can apply for slotbooking encumbrance certificate for timely notifications, issuance of certificates, registration process to ensure security.

Electricity bills can be paid through WhatsApp. According to public requests, new high tension lines, installation of power transformers, transco, internal communication, alert services will be made available based on geo location.

All transport license services, permits are already available online. All services are integrated with WhatsApp to improve user experience. The Meta team works closely with the APSRTC, as does the Delhi Transport Corporation. RTC services are integrated for ticket booking and parcel booking.

Attendance details of students to parents' phones

A short message with mobile number and Aadhaar authentication will be sent to the parents to inform the parents regarding the attendance and performance of the students. The Meta team will track curriculum outcomes and make additional courses available.

It gives regular updates on the ongoing infra projects and road conditions in the state. Information on agricultural market prices, climate, and best management practices can be obtained.

Information about entrance examinations and admissions in higher education can be obtained from time to time. Student-staff services, virtual teaching, communication and learning management systems to improve skills will be available. Apar ID will be linked for seamless access to educational services. Campaigns for drug and tobacco free campuses, applications for various certificates in universities.

Various types of skill training are available as per government standards. Meta contributes to skill calculation.

Industries are already using chatbots for outreach communication. Procedures have been prepared to integrate single desk portal for entrepreneurs. Application for land allotment, investment policy and promotion are available.Hundreds of services with one click
