Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anita has said that the proposed Bulk Drug Park by the State government and greenfield steel plant with an investment of Rs 1.40 lakh crore at Nakkapalli in Anakapalli district will change the industrial landscape in the undivided Visakhapatnam district.
Speaking at the valedictory of 10th Property Show organised here by Credai, said the NDA government in the State led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has taken a series of steps to win the confidence of investors back after flight of investments witnessed during the five-year regime of the YSRCP.
She highlighted Credai’s role in helping middle and lower-middle-class families achieve homeownership during her speech and emphasized that the government backs these efforts through initiatives like the single-window system for faster plan approvals. Additionally, the government’s measures to tackle illegal mining and implement a free sand policy have significantly benefited the construction sector.
Addressing concerns over land encroachment, Anita assured that a dedicated cell, supported by the police, has been established to tackle these issues effectively.
