AP Partners With Wadhwani Foundation For E-Gov
AI, other technologies will be harnessed for enhancing service delivery, policy-making

Vijayawada: In a bid to further strengthen its endeavour for emerging technologies (ET) in governance, the TDP-led NDA Government on Friday entered into a MoU with Wadhwani Foundation (WF).
The MoU aims for joint efforts to facilitate the adoption of new age technologies like AI, ML, generative AI, drones, and other advanced technologies across various government functions for better delivery mechanisms. The MoU was signed by Katamneni Bhaskar, Secretary, IT, Electronics and Communication, and Prakash Kumar, CEO, Wadhwani Center for Government Digital Transformation (WGDT), Wadhwani Foundation, marking the beginning of a high-impact collaboration aimed at harnessing AI and other technologies for enhancing service delivery, policy-making, capacity building and programme implementation in the State.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhaskar emphasised the State’s vision for AI-driven governance. “Andhra Pradesh is committed to leveraging emerging technologies for improving public services and governance efficiency. This partnership with Wadhwani Foundation will enable us to build AI-driven policy frameworks, enhance service delivery, and create a future-ready workforce equipped with advanced digital skills,” he said.
