Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is expected to leave for Delhi to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday to launch capital construction and various infrastructure projects at an estimated cost of Rs1 lakh crore.

The State Cabinet, which met at the Velagapudi Secretariat on Monday after a detailed presentation by Naidu in the Assembly on Swarnandhra Vision-2047, gave the green signal to issuance of Letter of Award to bids finalised for Amaravati works at a cost of Rs37,702 crore. Clearance was also given for 37 other works worth Rs15,081 crore to be undertaken under the aegis of Amaravati Development Corporation.

The Cabinet gave its stamp of approval to the recent clearance given at the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) for the proposed industrial investments worth Rs1.21 lakh crore through 10 companies. the Cabinet cleared investment proposals by Satyavedu Reserve Forest Infracity Private Ltd, Indosol Solar Private Ltd, Premier Energies and Dalmia Cement, besides reviving an international convention centre.
