AP Chambers Seeks More Jogging Tracks
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (APCCIF) has submitted a representation to MT Krishna Babu, Principal Secretary to the Government, Health, Medical & Family Welfare, highlighting the urgent need for more jogging and walking tracks throughout the State.
In its representation, AP Chambers emphasised that lack of dedicated spaces for exercise poses a significant challenge to citizens’ health and well-being. With insufficient jogging tracks and playgrounds available, many residents struggle to find safe environments for their daily walks and runs.
AP Chambers pointed out that exercising on busy roads is not only hazardous due to heavy vehicular traffic but also exacerbated by the presence of stray dogs. Current municipal parks often feature crowded and inadequate paths that do not meet the needs of walkers and joggers.
