AP Attracts Huge Investments, CM For Expediting Work On 175 MSME Parks

Amaravati: As Andhra Pradesh continues to attract huge investments, Chief Minister and TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu has directed the officials to ensure timely grounding of the approved projects and expedite work on establishing 175 MSME Parks to encourage small and medium entrepreneurs and generate job opportunities to the locals.

Till now the SIPB in all the four meetings held till now has given its consent for the projects worth Rs 4,32,584 crore, which will provide 3,92,680 jobs, according to a release issued by the Chief Minister's Office.

Chairing the fourth meeting of the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) here, he asked the officials to initiate steps to ensure that industries that have signed investment agreements with the State are grounded immediately. The Chief Minister also asked the officials to closely monitor the progress of the projects that have already been approved and entered into agreements with the State. He felt the need for setting up a tracker for closely monitoring the progress of these projects.
