Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh government is contemplating to launch MSMELink initiative, a flagship program designed to accelerate the digitisation of MSMEs across the State.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has already declared his plans to involve farmers in the development of MSME parks across the State as a pilot project. There is a plan to involve DWCRA groups in the MSME parks. The government has already launched for the first time in India a massive exercise for a skill census to map skill advantages and gaps in various industries.

The initiative has received strong support from several key stakeholders. Minister for MSMEs and NRI Empowerment Kondapalli Srinivas has extended his full support to the initiative, which is expected to play a pivotal role in empowering small and medium enterprises to enhance their market reach and operational efficiency.

Satish Babu M, Founder & MD, Tech-Mark Training, told Bizz Buzz on Tuesday that for the first time in India, the initiative to support MSMEs through expert guidance and training is being launched with Andhra Pradesh serving as the base. “This program will provide MSMEs access to trained professionals, offering crucial handholding support at their doorstep to drive growth and innovation.”

He said the initiative aims to bridge skill gaps by empowering students in turn to equip MSMEs with essential tools for market access both domestic and international. By taking ownership of key business needs, trained resources will help small businesses improve performance, productivity and elevate their standards to match industry benchmarks, he opined. The authorities recently will be launching MSMELink into the handloom and handicraft industries of Andhra Pradesh soon in partnership with the respective stakeholders, said Satish Babu.

The initiative will provide resources and tools at the door-steps of artisans and craftspeople, enabling them to connect directly with new markets and boost their incomes. This initiative is expected to significantly uplift rural craftsmanship and preserve the state’s rich cultural heritage. “Additionally, we had productive discussions with Dr S Greep, Director, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and VRVR Naik, CEO, AP Khadi and Village Industries Board,” he said.

Both leaders extended their willingness to support MSMELink’s mission at a meeting in Kurnool to connect artisans in the khadi sector to broader marketplaces, ensuring greater market visibility and opportunities for these traditional industries, he added. Satish Babu said, “We solidified our plans for the second Global Skill, MSME & AI Congress & Expo 2025. The event will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to chart the future of skills development and digital transformation in the MSME sector. This global platform will foster collaboration and innovation, aligning with the vision of sustainable growth for MSMEs.”

In another impactful initiative, Tech-Mark shared its decision to donate one million magazines to government schools across Andhra Pradesh of various international publications to the team of Minister of HRD, IT & RTGS Nara Lokesh. These magazines will help set up small libraries giving students access to valuable resources that encourage reading and lifelong learning.

“We would like to express our gratitude to Ravi Vemuri and Seshubabu Kanuri of APNRT for their consistent support in driving these initiatives forward. Their dedication has been instrumental in realizing our vision of transforming the MSME landscape in Andhra Pradesh,” he said. The support extended by the progressive team of the Andhra Pradesh Government is truly commendable,” said Joydeep Banerjee, Senior Advisor, Tech-Mark.
