Air India Express Additional Services from Andhra and Telangana

Air India Express has unveiled an ambitious expansion of its services from Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Vijayawada as part of its winter service schedule. This strategic move aims to enhance connectivity and cater to the growing travel demand in these regions.

With the new additions, the weekly flights from these three cities have surged from 173 to an impressive 250, marking a significant boost in the airline's operations. Ankur Garg, the Chief Commercial Officer of Air India Express, highlighted that this represents a remarkable 45% increase in services from these cities for the entire winter season.

New Routes and Increased Frequencies

Among the newly introduced routes is the Hyderabad-Gwalior direct service, which aims to improve connectivity to the central region of India. Additionally, a new service has been launched between Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada, fostering better regional connectivity within Andhra Pradesh.

In response to the growing demand, the airline has also increased the frequency of flights from Hyderabad to Bengaluru and Kochi, two of the most traveled routes for both business and leisure purposes.

Expanding International and Domestic Reach

Air India Express continues to strengthen its presence in Hyderabad, operating flights to 17 domestic destinations and three key airports in Saudi Arabia, catering to both domestic travelers and international passengers seeking convenient connections.

For Vijayawada, Ankur Garg emphasized that Air India Express remains the sole airline offering international flights from the city, underlining its commitment to enhancing Vijayawada's global connectivity.

The expansion of winter services by Air India Express reflects its dedication to meeting passenger demand, supporting regional growth, and offering reliable air travel options to a broader audience. This initiative not only boosts domestic connectivity but also enhances access to international destinations, strengthening the airline's position as a key player in India’s aviation sector.
