Aim At Inviting Industries To Create Jobs: CM To Collectors
Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday gave clear instructions to the District Collec-tors that they should function with the main motive of how many jobs they have created in their respective districts. Reaffirming that the main object of the State Government is creating 20 lakh jobs, he told them to mainly focus on the total investments made in their respective districts through which how many jobs are being created. By the next Collectors Conference all of them should come with clear details on this matter, he said.
Expressing displeasure over the District Collectors not paying attention to organise meetings in their respective areas on inviting investments, the Chief Minister specifically pointed out that Chittoor and Alluri Seetharama Raju districts till now have not held even a single meeting which, he said is not proper. He made it clear that works of Speed of Doing Business should be performed at a faster pace.
The Chief Minister told the Collectors to make the local farmers as partners while acquiring land and in setting up industries. The Collectors should ensure that the farmers who come forward to donate lands for setting up industries should get maximum benefits. The land pooling system fol-lowed in Amaravati should be complied with at the district-level too, he said.
