AG&P unveils decompression unit at Anantapur

Anantapur: AG&P Pratham, one of India’s leading city gas distribution companies, on Monday announced the inauguration of its decompression unit (DCU) in Anantapur.
The cutting-edge facility accelerates the supply of piped natural gas (PNG) to remote locations, specifically benefiting Maruthi Nagar, Ram Nagar, and Kovur Nagar. The connected grid lines across these areas extend the reach of natural gas to approximately 2500 households and 20 commercial units and most importantly allow the local residents to reap its diverse benefits to the fullest. Among others, Talari Rangaiah, Anantapur MP, M Gowthami, District Collector and Boya Girijamma, Chairman, Zilla Praja Parishad, Anantapur were present at the inauguration event.
Speaking on the occasion, Rangaiah lauded AG&P Pratham’s commendable efforts by stating that “this initiative to establish the decompression unit is a crucial step towards ensuring access to clean energy in our region.”
GA Venkatesh, Regional Head of AG&P Pratham, Anantapur and Kadapa, said: “This is our second decompression unit in the Anantapur district and we proudly dedicate this facility to the local residents as it showcases our unwavering commitment to offer green energy solutions.”
