New Delhi, Oct 10: In a passionate appeal at the Delhi Press Club, renowned flutist and advocate Nripendra Krishna Roy raised alarming concerns regarding the plight of Hindus and minorities in Bangladesh. Speaking out against escalating violence, including killings and sexual assaults, he has called for immediate intervention from Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

During a recent press conference, Roy highlighted the dire situation facing Bangladeshi Hindus, stating, "Every day, innocent lives are being lost, and families are being torn apart. It is imperative that the Indian government acts swiftly to ensure the safety of these communities." He emphasized that it is not only a moral obligation but also a responsibility of India to protect its cultural and religious brethren across the border.

Roy further extended his concerns to West Bengal, where he raised questions about the safety of women and the broader Sanatani community. "The situation in West Bengal demands urgent attention. The local administration has failed to provide a secure environment for minorities. I urge Prime Minister Modi to consider imposing President's rule in the state to safeguard the rights and lives of Sanatanis," he asserted.

The advocate's call for action reflects a growing anxiety among many in India regarding the security of Hindus and other minorities in neighboring regions. His unique approach combines his musical talents with activism, having previously demonstrated the power of classical music to influence climate and draw attention to pressing social issues.

As the Indian government grapples with various domestic and international challenges, advocates like Nripendra Krishna Roy are amplifying the voices of those who feel unheard. The urgency of his message resonates deeply, urging the government to prioritize the safety and dignity of its citizens, both within and beyond its borders.

The time for action is now, and the hope is that the Prime Minister will heed this call and take decisive steps to protect minorities communities in Bangladesh and Sanatanis in West Bengal.
