The accident occurred on Tuesday around 8:30 AM near Sihora in Jabalpur district. The victims were returning from the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj when their vehicle crashed into a truck.
Jabalpur District Collector Deepak Kumar Saxena confirmed that seven people died on the spot, while multiple passengers were critically injured. Some individuals were trapped inside the wreckage due to the severity of the collision.
