Sensex, Nifty open flat on Wednesday

The Sensex and Nifty were up 0.06 per cent and 0.02 per cent, respectively.

The Sensex was trading at 84,961, up 48.58 points, while the Nifty was trading at 25,945, up 5.54 points.
Among sectoral indices, Financials, FMCG, IT, Pharma, and Health were trading in red, while the Metal index was the top gainer.
Power Grid Corporation, Tata Communications, Apollo Tyres, Mahanagar Gas, and Ipca Labs were the top gainers on the Nifty.
Dabur India, IEX, Oracle Fin Serv, LIC Housing Finance, and PNB were the top losers.
