Futures Under Pressure On Weak Global Cues

Gold futures declined Rs74 to Rs77,018 per 10 grams in futures trade amid weak global cues. Silver futures declined Rs274 to Rs93,019 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.

On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for February delivery traded lower by Rs74 or 0.1 per cent at Rs77,018 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 12,297 lots. Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues. Globally, gold futures fell by 0.10 per cent to $2,647.14 per ounce in New York.
