Bullion prices in divergent moves

New Delhi: Gold prices increased Rs100 to Rs63,450 per 10 grams in the national capital on Thursday amid rise in the precious metal’s prices in the overseas markets, according to HDFC Securities.
In the previous close, the yellow metal had finished at Rs63,350 per 10 grams. However, silver prices plunged Rs600 to Rs76,100 per kilogram, while it had ended at Rs76,700 per kg in the previous trade.
“Spot gold prices (24 carats) in the Delhi markets are trading at Rs63,450 per 10 grams, up Rs100 against the previous close,” said Saumil Gandhi, senior analyst (commodities) at HDFC Securities.
