Crude oil futures on Friday declined 0.58 per cent to Rs6,530 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for June delivery fell Rs38 or 0.58 per cent to Rs6,530 per barrel with a business volume of 5,629 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.62 per cent lower at $78.13 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.45 per cent lower at $82.38 per barrel in New York.
