Brent Crude Trading Higher At $74.80/bbl

Crude oil futures increased Rs33 to Rs5,968 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was trading 1.31 per cent higher at $71.02 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 1.22 per cent up at $74.80 per barrel in New York. On MCX, crude oil for October delivery traded higher by Rs33 or 0.56 per cent at Rs5,968 per barrel in 5,124 lots.
