Crude oil futures on Friday declined 0.17 per cent to Rs7,012 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for July delivery fell Rs12 or 0.17 per cent to Rs7,012 per barrel with a business volume of 6,895 lots. Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.02 per cent higher at $83.90 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.08 per cent down at $87.36 per barrel in New York.
