Brent crude trading at $86.65/bbl

Brent crude oil prices increased Rs2 to Rs6,951 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was up by 0.45 per cent to $83.18 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.48 per cent higher at $86.65 per barrel in New York. On MCX, crude oil for July delivery traded higher Rs2 or 0.03 per cent at Rs6,951 per barrel in 6,008 lots.
