Brent crude trading at $86.16/bbl

Crude oil futures on Monday declined 1.19 per cent to Rs6,894 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for July delivery fell Rs83 or 1.19 per cent to Rs6,894 per barrel with a business volume of 5,672 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.61 per cent lower at $82.65 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.44 per cent down at $86.16 per barrel in New York.
