Crude oil futures declined 0.33 per cent to Rs6,855 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. On MCX, crude oil for July delivery fell Rs23 or 0.33 per cent to Rs6,855 per barrel with a business volume of 5,255 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil traded 0.22 per cent lower at $82.15 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.16 per cent down at $85.61 per barrel in New York.
