Brent crude trading at $79.35/bbl

Crude oil futures on Thursday declined 0.95 per cent to Rs6,152 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for January delivery fell Rs59 or 0.95 per cent to Rs6,152 per barrel with a business volume of 11,754 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.50 per cent lower at $73.74 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading down 0.38 per cent at $79.35 per barrel in New York.
