Hyderabad: City-based Shiv Narayan Jewellers on Wednesday unveiled its latest masterpiece of Ananth Padmanabhaswamy. The handcrafted idol consists of 75,000 diamonds making up a total 500 carats. The jewel was earlier officially launched at the India International Jewellery Show 2023.

This masterpiece, inspired by the idol in the Ananth Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, measures eight inches in height and 18 inches in length. 32 artisans have worked for 16 hours each day for two months to make the idol. The jeweller informed of having used Zambian emeralds and natural Burmese rubies.

Tushar Agarwal, Managing Director, Shiv Narayan Jewellers Private Limited said, “The creation of this masterpiece is all about our team’s dedication and passion. The depiction of Lord Vishnu in the Yoga Nidra position, with his hands resting on a Jyotirlinga represents Lord Shiva, and Lord Brahma seated atop a lotus that emerges from Vishnu’s navel, is a sublime representation of ancient Indian scriptures.”

The MD thanked entrepreneur and philanthropist Sudha Reddy for hosting the event. Film Actor Namrata Shirodkar was also present during the unveiling. Shiv Narayan Jeweller has eight Guinness World Record titles to its credit.
