Wonderla to open from August 5
Amusement park chain Wonderla Holidays has announced that all land and water rides at its theme park in Hyderabad will be reopened from August 5.

Hyderabad: Amusement park chain Wonderla Holidays has announced that all land and water rides at its theme park in Hyderabad will be reopened from August 5. Following the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health, Wonderla encourages visitors to book their entry tickets in advance. The park will function with 50 per cent capacity and it is the first amusement park that secured Cov - safe certification by Bureau Veritas India.
Arun K Chittilapilly, Managing Director, Wonderla Holidays, said: "After reopening the Hyderabad park, we hope to reopen up our other parks shortly. We are fully prepared to welcome our customers, following all safety precautions. All our employees are vaccinated and are mandated to wear masks."
As part of their reopening initiative, Wonderla is inviting 1,500 frontline workers from the State along with their family members to the Hyderabad Park for a fun-filled day. The invitees include doctors, nurses, attendants, media reporters, police, crematorium workers and Asha workers. The registration for 'Covid Angels' will be open during July 21-25.
