Stocks to buy on Thursday: Despite a lackluster signal from the global markets, Indian equity markets opened a bit up on the Tuesday. The benchmark indexes Sensex as well as the Nifty 50 showing modest gains in the early hours. However, the session ended on February 25 in a sluggish manner with a lackluster mood throughout the day.

The Nifty 50closed the session with a small dip of 0.03 percent, closing at 22,547. The Sensex gained 0.20 percent to end at 74,602. The rise, fueled by financial stocks and financial stocks, helped the index end its losing streak of five consecutive days.

The Nifty Midcap 100 index closed the session lower by 0.88 percent, closing at 49,702. The shares to buy under Rs 100 index declined by 0.44 percent, closing at 15,408.

Sumeet Bagadia stock recommendations

Sumeet Bagadia, Executive Director at Choice Broking, believes that the Indian stock market's trend remains sideways to weak. The index Nifty50 is trading in the 22,500 to 22,800.

In a discussion on the future of Indian markets, Bagadia declared, "The benchmark index closed just inside its lower limit and a breach below 22,500 could increase selling pressure at Dalal Street. The frontline index needs to close at or above 22,800 in order to boost market's mood. Therefore, the first hour of the Thursday session will be important."

In terms of Stock market today to buy for less than 100 dollars, Sumeet Bagadia recommended buying three stocks: EaseMyTrip, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited.

3] Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited: Momentum buy at Rs13.97, Stop Loss of Rs13.48; Target Price of Rs14.94.
