Stock market today: April 3 saw Indian markets finish at lower levels yet they still remained ahead of their Asian peers. After the Trump administration declared a 26% duty on Indian exports on Tuesday this week India became one of Asia's lowest-tariffed exporters. The Nifty 50 began trading with substantial losses but managed to regain most of its losses by day-end and closed at 23,243 points which represented a 0.38% decrease from its prior closing value. The Sensex concluded trading at 76,295 points which was down by 0.42%.
