Nifty Below 23,700, Sensex Down 500 Pts; Cyient, NMDC in Red

The Indian benchmark indices are swinging in red in today’s trading session. Nifty is currently trading at 23,656.15, down 0.66% while Sensex is down by 503 points at 78,195.41.

Adani Enterprises, Biocon, Vodafone Idea, Adani Total Gas and JSW Energy are the major gainers. Among the laggards, Cyient, NMDC, BHEL, Deepak Nitrite and Hindalco are having a tough day.

Following O2 power acquisition, JSW Energy rose nearly by 3%. MOSL has set a target price of ₹810 apiece, while Investec has pegged at ₹675. Meanwhile, Ventive Hospitality made a stellar debut on the stock market as the shares of the company got listed at a premium of 11.7% at ₹716.
