Maruti Suzuki Q3 Results: Net Profit up 16%, Rev Soars 15.7%
India’s largest automaker reported its Q3 numbers today. The company posted an increase in its consolidated net profit by 16.22% at ₹3,726.9 crore in the December quarter.
While revenue from operations surged by 15.7% YoY at ₹38,764.3 crore, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) went up by 14.4% YoY to ₹4,470.3 crore. On the other hand, EBITDA declined marginally from 11.7% YoY to 11.6%.
Maruti also reported highest-ever net sales of ₹36,802 crore during the quarter against ₹31,860 crore in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
In an exchange filing, the company said that its sales soared nearly 13% YoY. The company sold 5,66,213 units of vehicles, compared to 5,01,207 units in the same quarter a year ago.
