LIC Q3 Results: Cons Profit Soars 16% at ₹11,009 Crore

Life Insurance Corporation reported its Q3 (Sep-Dec) numbers today. Net profit surged by 16% at ₹11,009 crore YoY in the December quarter, compared to ₹9,469 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

Net premium income in Q3FY25 came down by 9% at ₹1,07,302 crore, compared to ₹1,17,432 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.

While profit after tax (PAT) soared by 42% on a QoQ basis, net premium income fell by 11% on a QoQ basis.

The results were announced during the after marking hours on February 7. Shares of LIC ended at ₹811 on the NSE, down ₹17.80 or 2.15%.
