Indices Opens Lower; India Cements Top Gainer

The Indian stock indices opened on a negative note in early trade on Thursday, with the Sensex down by 102 points, trading at 80,608 and the Nifty down by 17 points, trading at 24,588,
Likewise, the Nifty Midcap 100 and Smallcap 100 index opened in red in the broader markets.
Nifty Media was the biggest loser, while Nifty IT was the biggest gainer.
Among other sectoral indices, Nifty Auto and Nifty Metal also traded negatively.
India Cements, LTIMindtree, Manappuram Finance, TCS and Indus Towers were among the stocks that rallied on Monday.
