Japanese stocks advanced Tuesday with the Nikkei 225 up 0.30%, led by gains in Shipbuilding and Machinery sectors, while USD/JPY dipped to 155.53.

The Japanese indicators closed advanced Tuesday as Shipbuilding, Machinery and Rubber rose.

Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Co Ltd (TYO4506) was top killer of session Nikkei 225 with 4.02( 22.00 points) increase in 569.00. Late- traded Lasertec Corp (TYO6920) jumped 2.86 or 430.00 points to 15,475.00 and Renesas Electronics Corp (TYO6723) rose 2.21 or 45.00 points to 2,079.00.
The biggest disasters were Kawasaki Heavy diligence, Ltd.( TYO7012) whose shares fell 3.91 or 275.00 points to 6,750.00 at the close. Eneos effects Inc (TYO5020)-2.65 or 22.00 points, 807.20 Inpex Corp( TYO1605)-2.28 or 44.50 points, 1,911.00
In 1924, there were 1598 further shares of advance than declines (versus 1527) on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, while 327 were unchanged.
Nikkei Volatility indicator (index of inferred volatility for Nikkei 225 options) sank 3.58 to 21.81.
Crude futures were over 0.16 per cent or 0.21 at$ 76.55 a barrel for March delivery. Brent March delivery lost 0.36 or 0.29 to$ 79.86 a barrel on goods’ side, and February Gold Futures contract gained 0.29 or 7.89 to$ 2,739.69 a troy ounce.
USD/JPY lost 0.03% to 155.53, and EUR/JPY dropped 0.50% to 161.23.
The US Dollar Index Futures closed up 0.46% at 108.38.
