Sensex forms inside body candle

Mumbai: The benchmark indices witnessed lackluster activity as NSE Nifty ends lower, while BSE Sensex shed over 187 points.
Among sectors, some buying was seen in oil and gas stocks, whereas Media index corrected sharply trimmed over one per cent. Technically, after a promising pullback rally, the index has formed inside body candle formation which indicating non- directional activity.
"We are of the view that, for traders now, 60,700 would be the immediate support zone. Below which, the selling pressure is likely to accelerate," says Shrikant Chouhan of Kotak Securities.
Below the same, the index could slip till 60,500-60,200. On the flip side, above 60,700 the index could retest the level of 61,100.
