PFC net profit rises 23% to Rs 7,760 cr

New Delhi: State-owned Power Finance Corporation on Wednesday posted an over 23 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs7,759.56 crore in the December quarter compared to a year ago, mainly on the back of higher revenues. The company had a consolidated net profit of Rs6,294.44 crore in the quarter ended on December 31, 2023, a BSE filing showed. Total income rose to Rs26,821.84 crore in the quarter against Rs23,593.40 crore in the same period a year ago. The board also approved declaration of third interim dividend at Rs3.50 per equity share on the face value of the paid-up equity shares of Rs10 each for 2024-25.

Ashok Leyland profit rises 34.63% at Rs 819.67 cr

New Delhi: Commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland Ltd on Wednesday reported a 34.63 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs819.67 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2024, riding on strong sales, specially in overseas markets. The company had posted a profit of Rs608.85 crore in the third quarter last fiscal, Ashok Leyland Ltd said in a regulatory filing. Revenue from operations in the quarter under review stood at Rs11,995.21 crore as against Rs11,065.63 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, it added.

Patel Engineering profit grows 14% to Rs 80 cr

New Delhi: Patel Engineering Ltd on Wednesday reported 14.49 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs80.24 crore for the quarter ended December 2024, supported by higher income. It had clocked a net profit of Rs70.24 crore in the same period a year ago, the company said in an exchange filing. Total income rose to Rs1,265 crore from Rs1,076 crore a year ago. Expenses stood at Rs1,125 crore as against Rs1,030.94 crore in the third quarter of last fiscal. “Looking ahead, we are enthusiastic about enhancing our operational capabilities, expanding our project portfolio, and driving innovation within our industry.

Shree Renuka Sugars net loss widens to Rs 203.7 cr

New Delhi: Shree Renuka Sugars has posted widening of its net loss to Rs203.7 crore in the December quarter, on lower income. The company reported a net loss of Rs171.7 crore during the corresponding quarter a year earlier, according to a regulatory filing issued on Tuesday. Its total consolidated income declined to Rs2,478.3 crore in the third quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal from Rs3,009.7 crore in the year-ago period. Expenses remained lower at Rs2,869.3 crore as against Rs3,135.7 crore in the said period.
