HDFC Q3 profit rises to Rs 16,736 cr
New Delhi: Largest private sector lender HDFC Bank on Wednesday reported a marginal 2 per cent rise in its standalone net profit to Rs16,736 crore for the third quarter ended December 2024. The bank had earned a net profit of Rs16,373 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. The total income on a standalone basis rose to Rs87,460 crore in the third quarter of FY25 against Rs81,720 crore in the year-ago period, HDFC Bank said in a regulatory filing. On a consolidated basis, the bank’s profit also witnessed a slight improvement to Rs17,657 crore from Rs17,258 crore. The consolidated total income declined to Rs1,12,194 crore from Rs1,15,016 crore at the end of the October-November quarter of the previous year.
NIIT Q3 net profit up 9% to Rs 61.7 cr
New Delhi: NIIT Learning Systems on Wednesday reported a nearly 9 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs61.7 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2024. It posted a net profit of Rs56.7 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory statement. Revenue from operations for the quarter under review came in at Rs418.8 crore, up 7 per cent, from Rs391.3 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. “In a tough economic environment, NIIT MTS’ strong value proposition is resonating with clients and prospects, resulting in wallet share improvement and new client acquisition.
