Ahead of its Q3 results for 2025, Suzlon Energy's share price jumped 5%, reaching Rs 52.76 in the current trading session, compared to Rs 50.25 from the previous closure on Tuesday. The company's market capitalization increased to Rs 72,004 crore. In fact, over the past year, Suzlon Energy's stock has surged by 22%, and it has skyrocketed by an impressive 481% over the last two years. Today, the energy stock saw a turnover of Rs 1.18 crore as 2.25 lakh shares exchanged hands on the BSE.

In the December 2024 quarter (Q3 FY25), Suzlon Energy reported a remarkable 91% year-on-year growth in its consolidated net profit, which stood at Rs 388 crore, up from Rs 203 crore in the same period last year.

Notably, the company's order book has reached an all-time high of 5.5 GW, which Group CFO Himanshu Mody anticipates will be executed over the next 18 months. Furthermore, the company also reported a 102% year-on-year jump in EBITDA for the quarter, reaching ₹500 crore.

Despite this growth, Mody expressed optimism that the March quarter will outperform the December period. Additionally, when asked about the possibility of achieving a profit between ₹2,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore in the financial year 2026, based on analyst expectations, he pointed out that the company's future prospects will hinge on its execution capabilities and decisions made by policymakers.
