Tata Motors Q2 net falls 9.9% to Rs 3,450 cr
New Delhi: Tata Motors on Friday reported a 9.9 per cent drop in consolidated net profit to Rs 3,450 crore for the second quarter ended September 2024.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 3,832 crore in the same quarter of the last fiscal, Tata Motors said in a regulatory filing. Its consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 1,00,534 crore compared to Rs 1,04,444 crore in the year-ago period, it added. Total expenses stood at Rs 97,330 crore against Rs 1,00,649 crore in the same quarter a year ago, the company said.
MRF Q2 net profit dips 19% to Rs 470.70 cr
Mumbai: Tyre-maker MRF on Friday reported a 19 per cent on-year decline in consolidated net profit at Rs470.70 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024.
The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs586.60 crore in the second quarter of the previous fiscal year, according to a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operations for the September quarter rose 10 per cent to Rs6,881.09 crore, as compared to Rs6,217.10 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY 2023-24, the company said in the regulatory filing.
ABFRL posts net loss at Rs 214.7 cr
New Delhi: Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL ) has reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 214.70 crore in the September 2024 quarter. The company had posted a net loss of Rs 200.34 crore during the July-September quarter a year ago, according to a regulatory filing by ABFRL late Thursday. Its revenue from operations was Rs 3,643.86 during the quarter under review.
The same stood at Rs 3,226.44 crore in the year-ago period. “Consolidated net profit was impacted on account of higher depreciation/amortisation for brand & retail assets due to the inclusion of TCNS (clothing company) and higher interest costs on account of elevated borrowings,” ABFRL said.
Ashok Leyland Q2 net at Rs 766.55 cr
Chennai: Hinduja Group flagship Ashok Leyland announced on Friday a consolidated profit of Rs 766.55 crore for the July-September 2024 quarter. The city-based heavy commercial vehicle maker had registered a consolidated profit of Rs 550.65 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The consolidated total income during the quarter rose to Rs 11,261.84 crore, up from Rs 10,754.43 crore in the year-ago period. In a statement on Friday, the company said it maintains over 31 per cent market share in the domestic medium and heavy commercial vehicle segment.
