Hyderabad IIT Roorkee(IITR) has joined hands with National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) by signing an agreement on Friday, October 27. NRDC is part of the Ministry of Science & Technology and they work to support development of technology. The premier institute has formed a strategic partnership with NRDC to advance innovation and technology transfer. This collaboration will enable the transfer of technology from IITR to global market, contributing to India's self-reliance in technology and economic growth. NRDC's role in technology transfer and support for intellectual property development aligns with IITR innovation ecosystem, highlighting the crucial role of higher educational institutions in India's technological future.
