LIC Housing Finance to announce October-December Q3 results on January 31
LIC Housing Finance, India's largest housing finance company (HFC), will announce its financial results for the October-December quarter of fiscal year 2024-25 (Q3FY25) on January 31, 2025. The board meeting for the announcement is scheduled for 2:30 PM on that day.
In a regulatory filing, LIC Housing Finance confirmed the board's consideration of both standalone and consolidated un-audited financial results for Q3FY25. Additionally, the company stated that its trading window for securities will remain closed from January 1 to February 2, 2025, for all designated company officials, including directors and their families. The window will reopen on February 3, 2025.
In its Q2 FY25 update, LIC Housing Finance reported an 11.25% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit, reaching ₹1,327.71 crore, up from ₹1,193.48 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations for the quarter was ₹6,937.72 crore, marking a 2.5% rise from ₹6,765.44 crore in Q2FY24. Interest income was ₹6,859.96 crore, a slight increase from ₹6,712.63 crore in the previous year.
However, net interest income (NII) saw a 6% decrease, falling to ₹1,974 crore from ₹2,107 crore in Q2FY24. The company's total expenses were ₹5,274.61 crore, a small drop from ₹5,282.83 crore last year. Pre-provision operating profit also declined by 8.3% YoY, reaching ₹1,742 crore compared to ₹1,899 crore in the same quarter last year.
LIC Housing Finance shares closed 1.28% higher on Monday at ₹569.95 on the BSE.
