Korean envoy promises to take up anti-dumping duty issue

Visakhapatnam: Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India Chang Jae-Bok has promised to take up the anti-dumping issue with the appropriate authorities during his brief visit to Visakhapatnam.
He was speaking at a luncheon meeting organised by AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation on Sunday to discuss trade and investment opportunities between India and Korea.
Welcoming the participants, AP Chambers president Pydah Krishna Prasad said India and Korea share a healthy bilateral trade relations and AP Chambers is willing to work with Korea for the pragmatic trade cooperation between the two countries.
In his keynote address, Jae-Bok said during his maiden visit to Visakhapatnam promised to take up the issues such as anti-dumping duties imposed on silico-manganese. High import duty being imposed on shrimps and holding regular meetings at Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone for opportunities in pharmaceuticals brought to his notice by exporters.
Chairman of Visakhapatnam Zone KRB Prakash, vice-president Sudhir Mulagada, vice-chairman Srinath Chittori and members K Kumar Raja, P Sobhan Prakash, G Murali Krishna, (MD, Fluentgrid), A Leela Rani and others from different sectors such as logistics, pharmaceuticals, IT, seafood exporters, pharmaceuticals participated and discussed trade and investment opportunities in different sectors with Korea.
