Hyderabad: DRU GOLD, a gold recycling firm, has announced the launch of gold loan service across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The company uses latest technology for the last mile connectivity and gold validation. It plans go beyond the customer expectations by introducing market fit product with which customers can get the gold loan by sitting at home without any inconvenience.
Akhilesh Agarwal, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Dru Gold, said, "We will be entering to the gold loan market as most of the people preferred gold loans in emergency during the pandemic. Many companies registered good revenue in this segment. We are going to open 20 branches in both Telugu States in FY 2022-23 with an investment of about Rs 350crore. Further, we will open 50 branches in the next financial year, with main focus on south India."
"We will follow the unique gold validation technology with German machine, we will validate the gold infront of the customers, with that we will provide transparency in the process. As we are giving loan for accurate gold validation, we are not introducing any launching offers and we will provide loan at reasonable interest rates as per the market. We are focusing only on our company-owned branches in our further expansion instead of franchisee model," Akhilesh added.
