Contemporary art exhibition held
An art exhibition and an interactive walkthrough of two contemporary artists- Biplab Sarkar and Ishrath Humairah, has been organised at Kalakriti Art Gallery by FICCI Young FLO Hyderabad Chapter and YPO Gold South Asia Regional Chapter.

Hyderabad: An art exhibition and an interactive walkthrough of two contemporary artists- Biplab Sarkar and Ishrath Humairah, has been organised at Kalakriti Art Gallery by FICCI Young FLO Hyderabad Chapter and YPO Gold South Asia Regional Chapter.
Deepthi Reddy, FICCI Young FLO Hyderabad Chapter Chairperson said "Art is a media for empowerment. Art is a profession filled with passion with lots of scope in the coming years. As our great nation is celebrating 75 years of independence Young FLO, Hyderabad is curating a 20-Feet iconic structure, which denotes empowerment of women and 75 years of independence. The structure will be unveiled in February 2022." Ishrath Humairah said "Art and living are interconnected. Every painting and art is a conversation between the two. We buy the balloons but we never see the balloonwala. Tradition is not the worship of ashes but the preservation of fire."
Rekha Lahoti, Past Chairperson, FLO Hyderabad were present at the event. The exhibition also showcased works by Amit Lodh, Balaji Ponna, Claire Lone, Dhruti Mahajan, Karishma Wadhwa, Kiyomi Talaulicar, Laxmipriya Panigrahi, Muktinath Mondal, Raghav Vijay and Raka Panda.
Biplab Sarkar, the 2018 winner of the Glenfiddich Emerging Artist of the Year award, is confident about his work and is looking forward to sharpen his skills further.
Ishrath Humairah is a self-taught painter from India, who primarily paints abstracts. Deep textured landscapes, rocks, trees and nature are her signature elements. Having explored different painting media, Ishrath has liking for oil paints. Most of her landscapes have deep texture in oil media. She paints the traditional way, working layer upon layer that makes her paintings express themselves in varied hues.
