Brent crude trading lower at $75.88/bbl

Crude oil futures on Tuesday declined by 0.63 per cent to Rs 5,979 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for June delivery fell Rs 38 or 0.63 per cent to Rs 5,979 per barrel with a business volume of 9,141 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was trading 0.15 per cent lower at $71.94 per barrel, and Brent crude was down 0.14 per cent to $75.88 per barrel in New York.
