Brent crude trading higher at $75.60/bbl

Crude oil prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 26 to Rs 5,889 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was up by 0.48 per cent at $71.45 per barrel, and Brent crude increased 0.49 per cent to $75.60 per barrel in New York.
On MCX, crude oil for May delivery traded higher by Rs 26 or 0.44 per cent at Rs 5,889 per barrel in 9,379 lots. Analysts said the raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
